About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of the OleOle Mini Programs platform
  • Define the platform architecture, developer experience, APIs, SDKs, security model, and operational framework
  • Mentor engineering teams and establish technical standards
  • Collaborate with product teams to continuously expand platform capabilities
  • Own the technical vision for a platform supporting digital commerce, gaming, ticketing, hospitality, news, merchandise, AI services, fan engagement, financial services, and future Web3 applications
  • Define the Mini Program runtime, lifecycle management, sandboxing, and security architecture
  • Develop API gateway strategy, payment integration, identity and authentication, moderation framework, analytics, versioning, and deployment pipelines
  • Create a global ecosystem of third-party applications within the OleOle platform directed at football fans.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale platform architectures
  • Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and high-availability infrastructure
  • Extensive experience designing RESTful APIs, RPC frameworks, SDKs, and developer-facing tools
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, identity management, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API security, and permissions models
  • Experience with event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, distributed caching, and high-throughput communication systems
  • Proficiency in Rust is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, observability, monitoring, and DevOps best practices
  • Familiarity with payment platforms, digital wallets, financial infrastructure, or commerce platforms is highly desirable.
