About the role

  • Responsible for driving new business acquisition and revenue growth, primarily within the financial services industry.
  • Focus on generating new business for our Market and Trade Surveillance solution, expanding our market presence, and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Play a key role in Trapets’ continued growth and work closely with peers across Sales, Product, and Professional Services.
  • Report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be based at our head office in Stockholm.

Requirements

  • 10 years of B2B solution sales experience, preferably within complex technology solutions targeting companies within financial markets and trading services.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities from prospecting through to close.
  • Drive a solution-selling approach that aligns customer needs with Trapets’ offerings.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Demonstrated success in driving new business growth, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong commercial mindset and business acumen.
  • Excellent presentation, product demonstration, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex regulatory and technology concepts to senior decision-makers.
  • Solid understanding of structured enterprise sales processes and tools.
  • Experience with data-driven sales execution; training in MEDDICC, SPICED, or similar methodologies is a strong plus.
  • Good understanding of regulatory compliance, surveillance, and financial crime challenges within the financial markets and trading industry, enabling credible and value-driven positioning of our solutions.
