About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop TransUnion’s IP Geolocation technology using IP network topology
Identify and implement automation algorithm improvements
Query, extract, and transform large datasets
Provide analytic insights that improve data quality
Work with Data Analytics Team members, Engineers, and Data Scientists
Leverage big data to produce current, accurate information for customers
Solve complex problems with various stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of data science experience
Proven experience with SQL, R, Python, Mongo DB, and BigQuery
Ability to translate technical terminology for non-technical stakeholders
Experience leading data science initiatives
Ability to work in person at an assigned TransUnion office at least two days per week
Adherence to company policies, sound judgment, trustworthiness, safe working practices, respectful communication, and protection of confidential and proprietary information
