About the role
- Act as a key legal partner to commercial sales teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business
- Support customer contract negotiations and marketing material reviews
- Work with cross-functional teams including sales, compliance, and IT
- Advise internal clients on legal and business issues
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited school required
- Active license to practice law in applicable state(s) of employment
- Experience reviewing and negotiating customer contracts
- Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Highly responsive, excellent interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence
- Interest in emerging technologies and a desire to solve complex problems
- Ability to build relationships through communication skills
- Organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- 1+ years of experience as an attorney interpreting, negotiating, and drafting complex contracts
- Experience supporting commercial sales team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of US and global data privacy laws and regulations
- Understanding of GLBA, FCRA, DDPA
