About the role
- Supervise and mentor a team of collectors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily collection activities to ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices.
- Monitor and report on collection KPIs (DSO, aging buckets, recovery rates, bad debt write-offs).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and legal requirements.
- Work closely with finance, sales, billing, cash applications and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
- Strong knowledge of collections best practices
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Peoplesoft/Gatekeeper) and MS Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
