About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced Network Lead Engineer to oversee our networking team and serve as a key liaison between technical staff, business units, and leadership
  • The Network Lead will mentor engineers, manage projects, and partner with IT leadership to enhance performance, security, and scalability of network operations
  • Support the development and execution of long-term IT strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead, mentor, and cross-train network engineers, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Partner with the PMO to allocate resources, oversee tasks, and ensure successful delivery of IT projects
  • Assist with budget planning, cost analysis, and optimization of hardware, software, and services
  • Ensure stability, security, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness of network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement robust safeguards, maintain compliance, and mitigate risks
  • Manage vendor relationships, review SLAs, and monitor performance to ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Oversee user support, resolve issues, and recommend training to boost technical skills
  • Help develop and enforce IT policies and standards to ensure consistency and best practices
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase IT efficiency and user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of hands-on networking experience with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or team-lead role
  • Expertise with enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless)
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or equivalent enterprise networking technologies
  • Strong understanding of information security principles and compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively across business units
  • Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCDP, CompTIA Network+, CISSP, etc.) preferred.
