About the role
- You are the interface between the business units and development.
- Eliciting requirements: Daily close collaboration and, where necessary, workshops with the CPO, CTO and business units (Sales, Marketing, Product) to translate strategy and whiteboard concepts into implementation.
- Documenting: Writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and maintaining use cases and specifications.
- Analyzing: Prioritizing requirements, resolving conflicts between stakeholders, assessing business value and evaluating impacts on existing functionality.
- Validating: Creating prototypes and validating them with users, coordinating reviews, preparing acceptance tests (including Definition of Done) and ensuring the quality of new features.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Product Owner or in a comparable interface role.
- Structured, independent working style – you can quickly grasp complex issues and present them clearly.
- Resilient – you handle stress and change well. Our environment is start-up-like, meaning organizational structures are still being built.
- Proactivity and independent thinking and action are a must.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Should have: Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science or a comparable qualification (e.g., IT specialist vocational qualification).
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence and agile software development.
- Nice to have: Background in HR or an understanding of personnel topics is a big plus!
Benefits
- 100% remote within Germany (possible — or you’re welcome to work from our office) — occasional team meetups at our locations in Bad Nauheim and Starnberg to build and maintain connections.
- Real impact: Product under development — your requirements become features in a real customer-used product, not tickets in a backlog that no one reads.
- Short decision paths: Small team, flat hierarchies and direct access to the CPO and CTO.
- Stability: Financially secure environment of an established corporate group — with the agility of a startup.
- Equipment: Top hardware of your choice and an ergonomic workspace.
- Prospects: Company pension plan and long-term development opportunities within a growing team.
