About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the design, enhancement, and operation of enterprise financial analytics solutions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Microsoft Fabric data pipelines.
- Support NJTA financial analytics workflows.
- Enhance Power BI semantic models, measures, and reports.
- Contribute to machine learning and forecasting initiatives.
- Perform data quality checks and document assumptions.
- Assist with schema design and data governance best practices.
- Help automate recurring analytics and reporting processes.
- Participate in exploratory analysis and ad hoc financial modeling to support planning decisions.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Analytics stakeholders to translate business requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Interest in financial data, analytics, and modern data platforms.
- Familiarity with Excel; experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or PySpark is a plus.
- Exposure to databases, data modeling, or ETL concepts preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple priorities, and work independently with guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
