About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Champion organizational change and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer service excellence
  • Coordinate strategic business initiatives across functional groups and teams
  • Facilitate project portfolio management with PMO and IT teams, including prioritization, business case development, resource planning, and benefits realization analysis
  • Manage interdependencies and critical path milestones across initiatives
  • Facilitate risk management, issue escalation and resolution, scope change, and implementation planning
  • Manage dashboards of strategic initiatives and process improvements
  • Seek continual program process improvements
  • Define and direct formal communication methods and establish consistent communication across the organization
  • Provide portfolio reporting and facilitate inter-program communication
  • Define, catalog, and implement program management methodologies, tools, and governance
  • Oversee process improvement initiatives and hold teams accountable for goals and objectives
  • Direct problem resolution, decision-making, communications, and related activities throughout complex projects
  • Drive project intake, prioritization, discovery, demand capacity modeling, budget, and benefits realization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
  • Ten years of strategic planning experience
  • Five years managing complex multisystem and/or multiple-department projects
  • Experience utilizing interviewing and negotiation skills
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating small and large group meetings
  • Experience utilizing planning and organization skills and techniques
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and project staff
  • Experience utilizing analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization to guide strategic planning fundamentals and plan execution
  • Proficiency using MS Office and project development/management tools
  • Expert-level skills relating to project management theory, tools, and practice
  • Change management experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship
