Senior Manager, Client Executive
TransamericaManage client relationships and ensure satisfaction with retirement plans at Transamerica. Provide strategic consulting and cross-sell products while maintaining high client retention.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage an assigned book of business through proactive meetings and touch points with advisors and clients, including annual plan reviews.
- Provide strategic and tactical consulting to support client goals for qualified retirement plans.
- Cross-sell additional products and services using a consultative approach to deepen relationships and improve profitability.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for service-related issues by identifying root causes and coordinating resolution through appropriate resources.
- Consult with clients and advisors on qualified plan design and interpret plan provisions to support desired outcomes.
- Consult on plan enhancements and upgrades, including conversion of legacy investment contracts to newer products.
- Communicate product, service, and investment enhancements, including new offerings and changes to existing solutions.
- Educate clients on company processes, procedures, systems, and technology used by participants and plan sponsors.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
- FINRA series 6, 63, and required life insurance licenses, or obtain within six months.
- Seven years of client management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of retirement programs and subject matter expertise in plan management, including technical, compliance, administration, investment, and participant solutions.
- Understanding of industry and competitive best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Research skill and attention to detail
- Proficiency using MS Office tools
