About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops specifications for new and existing systems to determine program steps and sequencing.
- Designs, codes, tests, and documents components for applications or other technical solutions.
- Coordinates with co-workers, clients, operations and technical support on systems projects.
- Works independently and sets direction on small to medium size projects.
- Involved in solving problems with systems and programs.
- Interfaces and initiates discussions with clients to determine requirements, resolve problems and perform testing.
- Supports other analysts by performing functions, such as coding, testing, job processing, documentation, and scheduling.
- Plans specific activities within a complex IT project.
- Demonstrates a limited knowledge of systems and the overall business.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-year computer science or business degree or equivalent work experience.
- Up to 2 years work experience.
- Develop applications using Appian and related technologies.
- Leverage API based integrations to bring data from external systems.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, API integrations, and reporting tools.
- Domain knowledge in Financial Services.
- Appian certifications (Developer level or equivalent).
- Familiarity with JIRA and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Experience with cloud environments and deployment processes.
