About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide timely, business-oriented, legal advice and recommended solutions.
- Draft, review and negotiate various procurement contracts such as: software/technology licenses, professional/consulting services, outsourcing, statements of work, service agreements, etc.
- Collaborate with and facilitate cross-functional team decision making as it relates to supported projects and agreements.
- Review and draft documents and templates.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- JD degree from an ABA accredited law school required.
- Licensed or eligible to practice in the applicable state.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for the responsibilities above.
- Knowledge and prior experience with procurement agreements, software license agreements, Cloud agreements (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), outsourcing arrangements, and technology matters.
- Must be able to prioritize to meet deadlines.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral, with the intended audience.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise agility and adaptability in providing legal advice.
- Comfortable in a rapidly changing corporate environment.
