About the role
- Process all invoices under company payment terms with appropriate authorization
- Communicate with departments at assigned locations to resolve invoice issues
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and maintain invoice/report files
- Follow-up on problem invoices by gathering information, sorting misunderstandings, and creating DM/CM for discrepancies
- Perform AP-related month-end tasks: create journal entries, reconcile accounts, prepare analyses, and archive documentation
- Participate in Kaizen/TPS activities to identify root causes and recommend improvements
- Maintain a safe, organized 5S work environment and follow-up on implemented countermeasures
Requirements
- High School and/or Associates Degree
- 1+ Years Experience
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and invoice processing
- Ability to create A/P related journal entries and perform month-end reconciliations
- Ability to prepare analyses and archive reports/documentation
- Experience resolving invoice discrepancies (DM/CM) and communicating with vendors and internal departments
- Ability to follow company policies and authorization procedures
- Familiarity with TPS (Toyota Production System), Kaizen, and 5S continuous improvement practices
- Ability to visit assigned locations as needed and collaborate with other departments
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation
