About the role
- Provide technical support for the IBMi, ERP (INFOR LX), and Data Collection (shipping and scanning) systems
- Provide hands-on support and coordination for all TRAM Group locations
- Design, modify, test, debug and document systems and applications programs
- Generate user-required information and produce user-specified reports
- Schedule, document and audit systems backups, updates and other systems housekeeping functions
- Minimize disruptions of services to systems users and promote data integrity
- Design systems to integrate multiple locations' needs into one system
- Ensure data integrity of manufacturing floor data collection system and associated systems
- Create interface programs from various systems and INFOR LX using WEBAPI
- Analyze operating systems, hardware configurations and application programs and determine system capacity
- Develop, install and document application programs and supplemental systems software
- Improve system performance and increase system efficiency
- Balance time demands of multiple projects and promote teamwork within IT
- Diagnose and correct operating problems, consult with end users, maintain documentation and provide training
- Create and support shop floor production reporting system to support plant floor activities
Requirements
- 5+ Year of programming experience in RPG, ILE programming languages
- Experience with connecting multiple systems using WEBAPI
- Experience in INFOR LX will be a plus
- Automotive industry/Manufacturing experience a plus
