Participate in the creation of business and technical specifications with broker dealers, team leads, developers, and program managers
Follow the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release
Write well-designed, efficient code as needed, including: review, test, and debug team members’ code, and conduct the testing of completed code modules with the help of the testing team, and fixing code as needed to ensure a smooth system deployment with the intended functionality/specifications

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
5 - 10 years of total IT experience
5 – 10 years of development experience in either C# or Java
Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and multi-tier applications
Experience designing, implementing and delivering high quality software solutions that conform to architectural standards
Experience working with all phases of a multi-tier software development lifecycle (GUIs, databases, mid-tier, batch applications, distributed, micro-services)
Experience working with data-heavy applications (both real-time streamed and relational data)
Ability to demonstrate excellent collaboration / communication skills in working closely with other development teams to roll-out important changes and applications
Experience working with full-stack technologies (React, Vue, microservices) a strong plus
