About the role
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Perform month-end closing functions including journal entries, trial balance account analysis of key accounts, and intercompany reconciliations
- Active involvement in year-end financial statement semi-annual bank audits
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all external audits, including financial, regulatory, and compliance-related reviews
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing accounting teams, including supervision, coaching, and performance management
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
