About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Perform month-end closing functions including journal entries, trial balance account analysis of key accounts, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Active involvement in year-end financial statement semi-annual bank audits
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all external audits, including financial, regulatory, and compliance-related reviews
  • Develop and monitor business performance metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing accounting teams, including supervision, coaching, and performance management
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
