Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
Perform month-end closing functions including journal entries, trial balance account analysis of key accounts, and intercompany reconciliations
Active involvement in year-end financial statement semi-annual bank audits
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance
Serve as the primary point of contact for all external audits, including financial, regulatory, and compliance-related reviews
Develop and monitor business performance metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
5+ years of experience managing and developing accounting teams, including supervision, coaching, and performance management
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite)
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
