About the role
- Manages the company equipment from new hires to everyday needs; tracking all computer’s lifecycles, ordering new equipment, setting up all new hire computer systems, creating accounts and managing all new/existing accounts.
- Provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure the company meets and maintains SOC 2 Type 2 compliance requirements.
- Manage and support the company's software subscriptions and IT infrastructure, including Macbooks, servers, and cloud services, including access management.
- Ensure data integrity through regular backups, data recovery procedures, and data loss prevention strategies.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers.
- Work with Finance on Software and IT spend tracking and optimization.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on IT policies, best practices, and security awareness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years experience in IT support and security roles.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Proven experience with SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and IT security.
- Experience working with Information Technology operational processes, customer support processes, and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of Mac OS and GSuite administration.
- Working knowledge of a variety of technologies and platforms (operating systems, computer hardware, and software).
- Experience with endpoint management tools and software.
- High-level customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and perform multiple tasks with multiple deadlines, responding quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work and think independently to troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
