About the role

  • Manages the company equipment from new hires to everyday needs; tracking all computer’s lifecycles, ordering new equipment, setting up all new hire computer systems, creating accounts and managing all new/existing accounts.
  • Provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ensure the company meets and maintains SOC 2 Type 2 compliance requirements.
  • Manage and support the company's software subscriptions and IT infrastructure, including Macbooks, servers, and cloud services, including access management.
  • Ensure data integrity through regular backups, data recovery procedures, and data loss prevention strategies.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers.
  • Work with Finance on Software and IT spend tracking and optimization.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on IT policies, best practices, and security awareness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in IT support and security roles.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
  • Proven experience with SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and IT security.
  • Experience working with Information Technology operational processes, customer support processes, and vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of Mac OS and GSuite administration.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of technologies and platforms (operating systems, computer hardware, and software).
  • Experience with endpoint management tools and software.
  • High-level customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and perform multiple tasks with multiple deadlines, responding quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work and think independently to troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
