About the role
- Assist with various projects, including conducting research, writing and editing content, responding to inquiries, and assisting with TRACE programming efforts
- Research sports governance best practices and review and revise model bylaws
- Research and suggest topics for possible posts to TRACE’s blog, BriberyMatters.com, or episodes for TRACE’s Bribe, Swindle, Steal podcast, or TRACE webinars
- Solicit blog contributions from compliance professionals, lawyers, sports governance experts, and edit for posting
- Write blog posts or articles
- Research and draft interview questions for podcast
- Research and draft/update compliance resources for TRACE’s Resource Center (e.g. white papers, articles, memes, compliance checklists and guidelines, etc.)
- Support with TRACE webinars and events other agreed upon projects/tasks
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States or Canada
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school or recent graduate
- Demonstrated interest in international sports (e.g. Sports Law Journal; Sports Law concentration)
- Excellent writing skills (media and technical)
- Strong research skills
- Professional and reliable
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects
