About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform a wide range of facility-based maintenance duties
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning duties within the facility and some outdoor areas
Organize, maintain, and clean bathrooms, dressing rooms, meeting rooms, janitorial rooms, and storage rooms
Follow assigned task lists
Provide customer service and assist in program facilitation
Respond to customer inquiries according to established procedures and the approved decision-making framework
Maintain ongoing communication with program, event, and customer service staff
Provide setups, cleanups, and conversions based on facility programming requirements
Respond to additional facility requests as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of Grade 10 education
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work productively in a team environment and independently as required
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Maturity, judgment, and diplomacy
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
Ability to work variable hours including evenings and weekends
Secondary School Diploma preferred
