Technical Project Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own large, complex projects spanning multiple teams, ensuring clarity on requirements, dependencies, risks, and delivery plans.
- Drive impactful delivery on high-stakes projects and initiatives, improving predictability, reducing uncertainty, and shaping the cohesion of related efforts.
- Operate autonomously, deciding the best structures, cadences, risk controls, and sequencing for projects and programs.
- Ensure smooth integration across teams and workstreams, aligning definitions of done, testing expectations, and handoffs.
- Connect project-level execution to program-level commitments, maintaining holistic predictability across related initiatives.
- Identify risks, including sequencing conflicts and ownership gaps, and drive mitigation before they affect delivery timelines.
- Design and implement reusable execution frameworks, dashboards, cadence structures, and templates to improve cross-team consistency and efficiency.
- Identify workflow fragmentation across teams and introduce structural improvements that standardize planning, tracking, and reporting practices across workstreams.
- Streamline reporting, status updates, and rituals to reduce redundant work while providing leadership-level visibility.
- Map critical interfaces, clarify expectations, and reduce friction between teams and workstreams.
- Identify recurring coordination problems and implement scalable solutions, eliminating root causes and elevating organizational efficiency.
- Lead efficiency improvements across multiple projects simultaneously, eliminating duplicate work and resolving fragmented workflows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of project management in software development.
- Mobile app development is highly desirable.
- Experience with Jira or any other Task Management tool.
- Experience successfully completing/delivering projects using an Agile methodology.
- Ability to grasp issues quickly while factoring in technical dependencies and system limitations.
- Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking capabilities and sharp troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead, take action and provide goal-oriented direction in the face of ambiguity.
- Comfortable speaking to groups and presenting one-pagers, POCs, and architectural overviews.
- Metrics driven: Experience determining effective program KPIs and using them to measure program success and issues.
- Highly accountable and responsible.
- Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient.
- Passion for quality and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with rapid development cycles and tight schedules.
