About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and manage system designs using Autodesk Forma, Aurora and other industry-standard tools.
Coordinate with third-party engineering firms to develop and refine 90% and IFC designs.
Ensure all designs meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and installation feasibility.
Provide support to internal teams by offering design insights and modifications as needed.
Maintain organized documentation of design processes and revisions.
Track important KPI’s such as delivery time, plan accuracy and redlines.
Manage multiple projects at any given time, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality of the deliverables and communication to all parties involved.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Math, Science or a related field or a combination of relevant experience and/or education
5+ years of experience in system design within the renewable energy storage sector
Engineer-in-Training certification
Proficiency in design and construction software such as Aurora, Solo, Autodesk Forma, Autodesk Fusion, Procore or similar
Demonstrated leadership experience with the desire to grow into a team lead role
Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate with external partners
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality designs
Strong background with regulatory code such as NEC, NFPA, IBC, IFC, and related
