About the role
- Develop and productionize statistical machine learning models for probabilistic country attribution based on browsing patterns and behavioral signals
- Design and refine predictive models and statistical algorithms to improve accuracy and reliability of behavioral calculations
- Work with petabyte-scale datasets to extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of behavioral data
- Build scalable data pipelines and modeling workflows using Python and SQL
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production services
- Create clear visualizations and reports to communicate model performance and insights
- Own end-to-end algorithm development and model lifecycle management
- Mentor junior team members as the role evolves into Data Scientist Lead
Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in statistical machine learning and predictive modeling
- Strong statistical background with experience in probabilistic modeling
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
- Experience working with big data at scale (experience with petabyte-scale datasets is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another STEM field (required)
- Demonstrated experience in algorithm development and productionizing ML models
- Self-starter with high ownership and ability to drive projects independently
