About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the implementation, configuration, governance, and ongoing management of its enterprise Microsoft Azure environment.
Drive cloud infrastructure strategy, operational excellence, security, disaster recovery, and migration initiatives.
Collaborate closely with architecture, security, development, and governance teams.
Mentor engineers and provide executive-level technical guidance.
Establish cloud engineering best practices across the organization.
Design, implement, configure, and govern Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
Implement, maintain, monitor, and optimize mission-critical Azure resources.
Develop infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, including Terraform.
Implement and maintain Azure networking, security policies, and governance standards.
Support enterprise vulnerability remediation efforts using security tools such as Tenable.
Develop enterprise observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Alerts.
Manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10 years of experience implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and providing guidance on Microsoft Azure infrastructure and resources.
7 years of experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as ARM or Bicep.
10 years of experience planning and executing migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
10 years of experience supporting mission-critical enterprise environments and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
10 years of experience implementing Azure networking and security policies.
10 years of experience using Azure Monitor for alerting, observability, dashboards, and monitoring.
10 years of experience with vulnerability remediation and enterprise security initiatives.
Must physically reside within the United States for the duration of the assignment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Must be able to attend an in-person interview.
Candidate email address is required with submission.
Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent are preferred.
Networking certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
