About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, governance, and ongoing management of its enterprise Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Drive cloud infrastructure strategy, operational excellence, security, disaster recovery, and migration initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture, security, development, and governance teams.
  • Mentor engineers and provide executive-level technical guidance.
  • Establish cloud engineering best practices across the organization.
  • Design, implement, configure, and govern Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Implement, maintain, monitor, and optimize mission-critical Azure resources.
  • Develop infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, including Terraform.
  • Implement and maintain Azure networking, security policies, and governance standards.
  • Support enterprise vulnerability remediation efforts using security tools such as Tenable.
  • Develop enterprise observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Alerts.
  • Manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 years of experience implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and providing guidance on Microsoft Azure infrastructure and resources.
  • 7 years of experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as ARM or Bicep.
  • 10 years of experience planning and executing migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
  • 10 years of experience supporting mission-critical enterprise environments and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • 10 years of experience implementing Azure networking and security policies.
  • 10 years of experience using Azure Monitor for alerting, observability, dashboards, and monitoring.
  • 10 years of experience with vulnerability remediation and enterprise security initiatives.
  • Must physically reside within the United States for the duration of the assignment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Must be able to attend an in-person interview.
  • Candidate email address is required with submission.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Networking certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
