About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the optimization, design, development, and maintenance of enterprise tolling technology solutions
- Work closely with internal technical teams and external business stakeholders to analyze operational systems
- Document business requirements and translate business needs into actionable technical specifications
- Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to understand operational workflows
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify system deficiencies and recommend effective business and technical solutions
- Analyze enterprise tolling systems and document current-state and future-state business processes
- Gather, document, and manage detailed business requirements and user stories
- Decompose requirements into Epics, Features, and actionable user stories
- Support backlog management, user story development, testing coordination, and solution validation
- Develop process flows, context diagrams, data flow diagrams, and other business analysis artifacts
- Define testing objectives and develop detailed test plans and test cases
- Execute functional and regression testing activities to validate system changes
- Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, technical staff, and executive leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced understanding of enterprise data management concepts and tools with 8+ years of experience
- 8+ years of experience delivering business and systems analysis artifacts
- 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with strong knowledge of Scrum methodologies
- 5+ years of experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs
- 5+ years of experience translating client and product strategy requirements into application requirements and user stories
- 5+ years of experience defining acceptance criteria and managing the acceptance process with development teams
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication skills while collaborating with diverse stakeholders and customers
- Strong proficiency in business process management concepts and BPM tools
- Strong experience creating business process models and workflow documentation
- Experience working with large, multi-module enterprise systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project Server
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Must physically reside within the United States for the duration of the assignment
- Must be able to travel to Richmond, VA as needed for meetings
- Must be able to report onsite in Richmond, VA to pick up equipment
- Must participate in a virtual webcam interview
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Benefits
Comp & perks- Compensation range: $43 – $63 per hour
- Hybrid work arrangement

- Contract may be extended beyond June 30, 2026, potentially for 12+ additional months
