About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the design of highway design, geometric layouts, roundabouts, alignments, profiles, cross sections and other related infrastructure projects
- Contribute to the production of preliminary and final plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team
- Utilize related software to support design and project needs (MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience supporting highway design and/or other transportation design projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
