About the role
- Collaborate with civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, design, and planning professionals on multidisciplinary projects
- Assist in the design of roadway and utility infrastructure across the Twin Cities metro and greater Minnesota
- Participate in the full project life cycle - from initial concept through construction completion
- Conduct site assessments to gather field data and evaluate existing conditions
- Develop construction documents, plans, and specifications using industry-standard tools and practices
- Observe construction operations to ensure design intent, quality standards, and safety protocols are met
- Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all phases of the project
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
- Previous exposure or interest in Municipal / Utility or Transportation Engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to apply effective verbal and written communication skills when writing specifications and reports, participating in project team discussions, and interacting with clients and contractors
- Valid Driver's License and motor vehicle record (MVR) meeting company standards
