About the role
- Support day-to-day project safety operations on-site and in the office.
- Help build and update project-specific safety plans, working closely with field leadership.
- Coordinate and facilitate training—everything from toolbox talks to safety onboarding.
- Assist with incident investigations and reporting, helping the team learn and improve.
- Track and interpret safety data to identify patterns and areas for action.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of construction safety experience (electrical strongly preferred).
- Knowledge of key standards like OSHA, NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI.
- Current OSHA 30 certification (required).
- CPR/First Aid certification (Trainer status preferred).
- A high school diploma or GED (required); Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- The ability to build relationships with people at all levels—from the crew to the C-suite.
