About the role
- Assist with daily trade operations, using our tools to provide quantitative analysis and support
- Document market activity and hypotheses for fundamental drivers of prices in different locations on different days
- Perform analytical work to improve our forecasts and to suggest possible strategy improvements
- Assist data team with the implementation of new data sources, mappings between data sources, and ensuring data integrity for our day to day trading efforts

- - Good verbal and written communication
- - Ability to quickly learn new concepts and subject matter -- power markets are highly specialized and complex
- - Ability to quickly learn how to use new tools and software, as needed, both proprietary and off-the- shelf (i.e. Excel, R, Python, MySQL, PowerWorld)
- - Proficiency in Excel is preferred, but not required
