About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs in Java using Spring Boot.
  • Implement and optimize business logic with a focus on performance, scalability, and resilience.
  • Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
  • Participate in technical design and architectural definition of solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in code reviews, backlog refinements, and incident resolution.
  • Ensure application observability through logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of services.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
  • Experience with resilience patterns (Retry, Circuit Breaker, Fallback, Idempotency).
  • Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and development best practices.
  • Knowledge of automated testing with JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
  • Experience with Spring Cloud is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native architectures.
  • Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of observability, SRE, and application monitoring.
  • Experience in high-availability environments and mission-critical systems.
