About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and maintain the project plan, schedule, budget, and RACI matrix
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies and implement mitigation actions
Facilitate communication between management, technical teams, vendors, and end users; lead progress meetings
Ensure technical solutions meet functional, non-functional, and security requirements, and validate testing and acceptance
Cybersecurity and compliance
Ensure security controls are integrated into the project; coordinate risk assessments, penetration tests, and remediations
Financial control
Monitor costs, ensure expense approvals, and report budget variances to area owners
Prepare documentation, runbooks, and training for operations and maintenance
Produce regular reports on progress, risks, and performance metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5–8 years in IT project management, with at least 3 years in leadership roles on infrastructure and cybersecurity projects
Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Management, or a related field
Project management certification - PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent
Relevant security certification - ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
Project management: PMI/PRINCE2/Agile methodologies; planning, risk management, and cost control
Infrastructure: networking, virtualization, storage, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid integration
Systems: server administration, databases, middleware, and monitoring tools
Cybersecurity: frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST), vulnerability management, penetration testing, IAM, encryption
Tools: MS Project/Jira/Confluence
Leadership and decision-making ability
Clear communication and influence with senior stakeholders
Results-oriented and problem-solving mindset
Conflict management and negotiation
