About the role

  • Develop and maintain ABAP solutions for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, user exits, and BAdIs
  • Participate in development activities, incident resolution, and technical deliveries for implementation, migration, and support projects
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and integration teams to define and validate technical requirements, data mappings, and integration scenarios (IDoc, RFC, APIs)
  • Ensure code quality through development best practices, technical documentation, code reviews, and unit testing
  • Contribute to effort estimates, delivery planning, deployment activities, and post-go-live support
  • When applicable, participate in development on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Kyma) and cloud integrations (optional)

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of proven experience in SAP ABAP development
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA (on-premise and cloud)
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPI, BAdI, user exits, enhancement framework, and forms (SAPscript/SmartForms/Adobe Forms)
  • Experience with integration (IDoc, RFC, SOAP/REST APIs) and handling master and transactional data
  • Familiarity with transport and code management tools (CTS, Git) and CI/CD practices in an SAP context (nice to have)
  • Experience with development on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma) and in-cloud extensions is valued but not mandatory
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, for communication with international teams
