About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage end-to-end import processes for aircraft, parts, equipment and aeronautical components via air, sea and company-owned transport.
  • Prepare, review, control and ensure compliance of all import documentation.
  • Coordinate and follow up on customs clearance procedures with customs brokers, freight forwarders, Federal Revenue (Receita Federal), ANAC, MAPA and other approving agencies.
  • Monitor deadlines, costs, taxes and operational indicators.
  • Oversee all stages of the import operation, ensuring follow-through until completion of the process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with international suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and internal departments.
  • Maintain and update corporate systems, ERP, Siscomex and other foreign trade platforms.
  • Identify risks and propose continuous improvements to import processes.
  • Ensure compliance with customs legislation, aviation sector regulations and internal compliance policies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Logistics, Engineering or related fields.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Solid experience in foreign trade and import customs procedures.
  • Fluent English for communication and negotiation with international suppliers and partners.
