About the role
- Work directly with homeowners to create thoughtful, site-appropriate designs.
- Learn each customer’s goals, preferences, and site conditions through consultations.
- Create landscape designs that balance beauty, function, and plant health.
- Meet established deadlines and maintain momentum across multiple projects.
- Listen deeply and ask intentional questions to fully understand customer needs.
- Navigate challenging situations with sound judgment, professionalism, and empathy.
- Partner with design leadership when additional support or guidance is needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working directly with residential homeowners.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in landscape architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and InDesign.
- The ability to create a basemap remotely.
- The ability to work independently and make sound design and customer service decisions.
- A relentless focus on the customer experience, as well as the design process.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with navigating Google products, video calls, and project management software.
