About the role

Support our team in developing a digital twin for energy systems (approx. 70% backend / 30% frontend)
Implement modern frontends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP, with a view to adopting React
Develop and maintain backend components in Python
Connect to and consume backend APIs (REST, possibly GraphQL)
Implement UI/UX concepts in close collaboration with design and business teams
Ensure performance, maintainability and code quality
Participate in an agile development environment (Scrum)

Proven frontend experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
Ideally experience with React, alternatively Vue or Angular
Proven backend experience with Python, in particular common OOP approaches and time-series data processing
Ideally experience with MySQL and InfluxDB
Experience integrating APIs and working with modern web architectures
Basic understanding of UI/UX, performance optimization and accessibility
Knowledge of security best practices (e.g., OWASP) and data protection is a plus
Self-driven, structured work style and ability to work well in a team
Experience with agile methods and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
