About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Further development and new implementation of solutions for creating and validating event tickets, as well as distributing them
Designing and developing new features, from requirements analysis through implementation
Taking a solution-oriented, pragmatic, and commercially sound approach to balancing visionary ideas with optimal software architecture
Monitoring processes, with a particular focus on scalability
Taking on DevOps responsibilities in collaboration with system administrators
Developing new features and enhancing the online ticketing software in sprints
Following the “you build it, you run it” principle with support from the Core Team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience working in agile teams, along with a self-organized and independent approach to work
Experience with distributed systems
Knowledge spanning the frontend, backend, infrastructure, and database layers
Several years of professional experience with Node.js
Proficiency in JavaScript; TypeScript is preferred
Understanding of clean architectures and interfaces
Experience with unit testing
Experience with Git
Willingness to learn new programming languages, technologies, and methodologies
Fluent in English
Good German language skills, at least B2 level
Experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design) or knowledge of AWS is a plus
