About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You thoroughly understand the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders and develop high-quality product solutions.
- You develop a long-term vision for the product and communicate progress openly and transparently.
- You monitor market and competitor trends and developments to ensure our product remains competitive.
- You work both very independently and closely with your team: you define the “what” and give the team freedom for the “how” — while upholding our high quality standards.
- You support the management of the team’s work according to Scrum and the planning of our typically 2-week sprints.
- You create test plans and test protocols for new and existing products and carry out manual test runs.
- You manage, describe, and prioritize items in the product backlog and document project-related topics.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in business informatics, business administration, computer science, or a related field, with a solid understanding of technical requirements.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner (m/f/d) or in a comparable role and experience applying agile working methods, ideally in e‑commerce or event management.
- Strong communication skills to support stakeholder management: you can explain complex issues clearly and coordinate easily with a wide range of interlocutors.
- Strong analytical skills and technical understanding: you are able to analyze market trends and understand technical solutions.
- Proactive, able to work independently and make decisions. You take responsibility for your area and also look beyond your immediate remit to deliver a valuable end result.
- Team spirit and collaboration skills: you are a team player who knows how to inspire and motivate the development team and tackle challenges with a solution‑oriented approach.
