About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze data for quarterly oversight meetings, statistical analysis, outlier analysis, AUM reporting, and peer universe rankings
  • Review and present performance reports for corporate governance and oversight committee meetings
  • Apply rate-of-return decomposition, performance attribution, and portfolio analytics reporting
  • Analyze and explain investment performance results and portfolio construction for complex products
  • Translate complex investment outcomes into clear descriptions for senior management, investment committees, fund boards, investment teams, CPM, product management, sales, marketing, and client services
  • Maintain and develop policies and methodologies compliant with GIPS standards
  • Lead large-scale enterprise projects and support improvements to performance systems
  • Own performance platform configuration, including composites, benchmarks, reporting hierarchies, and asset class structures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of required work experience; 7+ years preferred
  • Deep command of TWR/DMWR return calculations, performance attribution, and portfolio analytics
  • Specific experience with multi-asset managed account structures
  • Proficiency in data reconciliation, dispersion analysis, and statistical review
  • Ability to translate complex performance outcomes into clear narratives
  • Experience owning an enterprise performance system such as First Rate
  • Experience configuring composites, benchmarks, reporting hierarchies, and asset class structures
  • Ability to independently lead large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • UMA/SMA sleeve-level performance and overlay reporting preferred
  • Configuration or migration experience with the incoming performance system preferred
  • SQL/data query skills preferred
  • Lean/process improvement mindset preferred
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, FactSet, or index and data provider relationships preferred
  • Collaboration or client service experience preferred
  • GIPS standards compliance knowledge
