About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

design and development of solutions supporting Middle Office Technology functions
collaborate with IT Leadership and Business Unit Leaders to develop strategic roadmaps
coordinate responses when critical issues arise that affect the business
oversee the full life cycle of the delivery of solutions
liaise closely with Leveraged Finance Business and Application Analysts to generate Technical Design
maintain and work closely with business/operation team related to Portal Applications day to day activities
act as a Technical SME and business point of escalation for design issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree Required
5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
5+ years of Buy/Sell side experience working at Hedge Fund/Investment Manager leading Developers
Experience in Java/J2EE/Weblogic/Middleware Technologies/SQL/Unix
3+ years of experience with AWS - With multiple AWS services beyond traditional IaaS
Hands on working Experience with Web Frameworks such as Angular/C#/Spring Boot/React and/or Java
Strong Database experience (e.g. RDS, Oracle, SQL Server, MYSQL, MongoDB or PostGre)
Experience in CI/CD tools (Electric Flow, Ansible, or Puppet, Jenkins, Github, Git, Maven, Docker, Atom)
Two (2) years of demonstrated programming ability, skillset in designing and developing automation scripts using Python
Ability to document current and target state Technical workflows using tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint
