About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop a high-quality wealth management practice by managing and deepening relationships with an established book of high-net-worth clients
- Partner with clients to understand their goals and deliver tailored financial strategies, always acting as a fiduciary and in their best interests
- Serve as the primary financial contact, navigating complex situations and guiding clients through and into retirement
- Proactively grow your practice by expanding existing relationships and engaging TIAA's full wealth management capabilities
- Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive recommendations and anticipate client needs
- Bring a thoughtful, creative, and entrepreneurial approach to practice growth — always centered on what's best for your clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience managing a book of business and building long-lasting relationships with affluent clients
- Deep knowledge of investment solutions and financial planning
- Exceptional people skills - engage clients with authenticity, build trust naturally, and always act in their best interests
- Solutions-oriented mindset with the drive to make a meaningful difference in clients' financial lives
- Thrives with both autonomy and accountability
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63; Series 65 or 66 Life and Health Insurance License — all licenses must be obtained within 120 days of start date
- Preferred: Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State)
- Multiple Issuers required
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I.
