About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Meet the communications needs of clients by delivering standard and/or custom communications solutions
Oversee work of more junior staff and assign projects as needed
Lead meetings with stakeholders to review communication needs, deliverables, and budget implications
Ensure compliance of communications solutions within the regulatory environment
Establish and report metrics to measure success of communications strategies
Manage ad hoc endorsement mailings, writing scripts and test cases with Technology partners
Coordinate business and technology interfaces along with template management

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or client-facing roles
5+ years’ experience in financial services, retirement plans, benefits communications, or related field
Bachelor's degree
Experience with marketing automation platforms, workflow tracking systems, or project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Monday.com)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of TIAA investment products, services, and retirement plan structures
Familiarity with retirement industry regulations (ERISA, DOL guidelines)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software
Salesforce or CRM platform experience
