About the role
- Manage a team of professional employees to oversee the design, delivery and administration of training programs
- Manage the employee capability development needs of the business by reviewing and approving current learning and development programs
- Enhance the performance of individual employees
- Manage policy and strategy implementation for short-term results
- Ensure that policies and practices are understood by direct reports
- Communicate with leadership to develop management skills and implement best leadership practices within the organization
Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred
- 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
- Excellent consulting skills
- Ability to conduct a learning needs/gap analysis
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Proven people leadership skills
- Deep knowledge of adult learning principles
- TIAA business acumen
- Thorough understanding of human resources functions and procedures
- Understanding of Learning systems (Learning Management System, Learning Experience platform, etc.)
- Working knowledge of AI in Learning systems
