About the role
- Successfully lead the planning, construction and modification of gas technology facilities (e.g., gas pressure control and metering stations or biogas injection facilities)
- Project communication and stakeholder management, including representing the company to internal and external stakeholders (political stakeholders, authorities, local residents, media)
- Project planning, reporting, budget responsibility as well as quality management and documentation, including planned-vs-actual comparisons of schedule, cost and quality
- Perform (cost) calculations, coordinate service providers and assume responsibility for commissioning and ensuring operational readiness
- Fulfill all client/owner responsibilities and ensure health, safety and environmental protection
- Procure supplies and services, monitor project progress on site and take responsibility for all acceptance and handover procedures
- Create and maintain internal technical guidelines and instructions and participate in internal and external working groups
Requirements
- Completed degree in engineering, e.g., Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of project management experience, ideally in infrastructure projects
- Very good planning and organizational skills and strong problem-solving abilities
- High level of initiative and an independent working style
- Strong presentation and communication skills and ideally experience in media and crisis communication
