About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and maintain internal and external documentation using Docusaurus among others.
- Write clear and structured: SDK integration guides (mobile and/or backend).
- API documentation and onboarding materials.
- Product documentation for features and workflows.
- Document backend architectures, including: Microservices environments.
- Event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka).
- Data flows and database interactions.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to gather and validate technical content.
- Continuously improve documentation structure, usability, and developer experience.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Technical Writer / Documentation Engineer (4+ years)
- Experience creating developer documentation (APIs, SDKs, integrations, workflows)
- Hands-on experience with Docusaurus or similar Docs-as-Code frameworks.
- Strong ability to understand and document backend architectures (microservices, event-driven systems)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous communication, and data models.
- Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger is a plus.
- Excellent written English with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineers, security, and product teams.
- Ability to translate technical insights into clear documentation for different audiences.
- Proactive mindset focused on improving documentation quality and developer experience.
- Detail-oriented with a structured approach to complex information.
- Strong awareness and adherence to security and privacy principles.
- Active engagement in maintaining secure documentation practices.
