About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in managing high-value serious and catastrophic injury cases from inception through conclusion.
  • Draft legal documents, witness statements and correspondence.
  • Review medical records, expert evidence and other documentation.
  • Undertake legal and factual research.
  • Liaise with clients, medical experts, rehabilitation providers, leading counsel, courts and other stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of cases for conferences, settlement meetings and trials.
  • Maintain case records and ensure compliance with regulatory and professional obligations.
  • Provide exceptional client care with empathy, professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Work alongside senior lawyers and fee earners on complex catastrophic injury claims.
  • Assist with litigation strategy and develop client relationships.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Law Degree or equivalent legal qualification.
  • At least two years' experience working as a personal injury paralegal.
  • Experience managing your own caseload and/or supporting complex litigation matters.
  • Previous experience using a case management system.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
