About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing a caseload of pre-litigated cases, primarily focused on personal injury claims for union members
- Carrying out a range of tasks including initial assessment on merits
- Obtaining evidence in support of liability including from witnesses and pre-action disclosure
- Assessing value of claims and attending on clients, witnesses, experts, union clients, third parties and defendants
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent communicators with an outstanding client focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of personal injury law and familiarity with Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules, and funding procedures is advantageous
- Understanding of case management systems
- Proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft suite (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook) is desirable
