About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide legal advice and support to Trade Unions and their members on settlement agreements.
  • Liaising with Union officers.
  • Supporting senior solicitors on high-profile and large-scale settlement exercises.
  • Working collaboratively within the team to help develop and promote our service offering.
  • Negotiate settlement terms in line with legislation and client instructions.
  • Develop specialist expertise in advising, negotiating, and completing settlement agreements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • We welcome applications from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives at any stage of their career.
  • You do not need prior employment law experience to apply.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and build trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working sensitively with clients and maintaining professional relationships.
