About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal advice and support to Trade Unions and their members on settlement agreements.
- Liaising with Union officers.
- Supporting senior solicitors on high-profile and large-scale settlement exercises.
- Working collaboratively within the team to help develop and promote our service offering.
- Negotiate settlement terms in line with legislation and client instructions.
- Develop specialist expertise in advising, negotiating, and completing settlement agreements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- We welcome applications from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives at any stage of their career.
- You do not need prior employment law experience to apply.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and build trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working sensitively with clients and maintaining professional relationships.
