Accounting/Finance Intern

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepares journal entries and executes other data entry tasks.
- Assist with reconciliations.
- Assist with financial reporting and other accounting functions.
- Assist with AR/AP functions.
- Learn about accounting & finance principles, procedures, and software.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Currently enrolled in or completed college courses that reviewed financial preparation and analysis accounting functions.
- Exposure to balance and income statements.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills.
