About the role

  • Craft seamless purchasing experiences that reduce friction and increase clarity — from add-to-cart interactions through final payment confirmation
  • Proactively identify and remove friction points to boost user confidence and maximize conversion rates
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to translate complex requirements into delightful, robust, and shippable features
  • Turn customer feedback, usability insights, and behavioral data into high-impact product improvements
  • Prototype and validate hypotheses and designs through rigorous usability testing, A/B experiments, and stakeholder workshops
  • Simplify complex processes and edge cases into intuitive, accessible interactions across multiple markets and devices
  • Contribute to the evolution of our Design System by refining and expanding transactional components and patterns

Requirements

  • 3+ years of UX/Interaction Design experience, ideally designing checkout, payment, or other transactional user journeys
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong interaction design, flow design, and problem-solving in high-stakes environments
  • Excellent at mapping intricate processes, handling edge cases, and translating legal and compliance requirements into intuitive customer flows and trust-building patterns
  • Enjoy working in agile, cross-functional teams and turning early ideas into shippable product innovations
  • Power user of Figma and the modern UX toolset (e.g., Framer, Dovetail, Storybook)
  • Proficient in Design Thinking, User Research, and A/B testing, with a strong drive for data-informed solutions
  • Professional fluency in German and English, enabling smooth collaboration across teams
