About the role
- Help build backend applications in a Google Cloud Platform environment
- Develop in Golang and manage interactions with GCP services
- Collaborate with teams to ensure effective software delivery and integration
- Support and automate CI/CD pipelines as required
- Participate in design and architecture discussions and decision-making
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend software engineering experience
- 2+ years of professional Golang development experience
- Strong hands-on experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
- Experience building backend services or APIs in Go
- Experience integrating applications with GCP services (e.g., Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery)
- Experience building or automating workflows using Google Workflows
- Familiarity with YAML-based workflow definitions
- Experience orchestrating microservices or serverless functions
- Experience supporting or automating CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of API design and backend service architecture
- Strong communicator who works effectively on distributed engineering teams
