About the role

  • Contract QA Automation Engineer (~10–20 hours/week) acting as technical QA lead
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests with Playwright
  • Write, document, and maintain TestRail test cases for manual and automated suites
  • Validate CMS websites (Drupal, WordPress) for front-end and authoring functionality
  • Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing for new features
  • Log, track, and validate bugs in Jira and provide detailed test reporting to project teams

Requirements

  • Proven Playwright experience and strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
  • Proficiency with TestRail or similar test management tools
  • Experience testing CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress; Sitecore, Contentful or AEM a plus)
  • Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
  • Experience working in Agile workflows and collaborating in multi-discipline teams
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, able to flag risks early
  • Experience with accessibility testing and cross-browser/device validation
  • Experience building scalable test frameworks and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to perform manual and exploratory testing, log bugs in Jira, and provide detailed test reporting
